    Description

    This old H. Disston No. 9 would date from the mid to late 1860's with the combination of the H. Disston eagle medallion and the Henry Disston & Son etch. The 26 inch blade has some gentle bow over the length and some pinpoint pitting in places. The early loop style apple handle is solid to the plate and has only tiny nicks around the edges with full horns.
