    Description

    Listed is this vintage WWII era handsaw made between 1942 and 1945.  Etched on the blade is "HENRY DISSTON & SONS - D42 - PHILADELPHIA - U.S.A. - LIGHTWEIGHT".  Also has the signed Disston pledge, with an Eagle and Liberty Bell and a large V for Victory and the …_ Morse Code for V.  Blade is engraved 5 1/2 adjacent to the handle. The medallion is worn but reads "DISSTON - U.S.A."  Walnut handle, the handle shows some age, the wood is split through in two places.  The blade shows some oxidation but is still straight and sharp.  The total length is about 29 1/4".  Please check the pictures and contact me if you have any questions.
